Mother’s Day

I sure wasn't expecting anything for Mother's Day this year, but I got a couple of nice surprises! Jon got me a really cool Tinkerbell seat cover for my car. He said he'd get me the other one if I liked it, which I do, so he better get buying. I told him I thought that whatever it was would be for the baby and he said "Mother's Day gifts are for the mom!" I went to his parent's house yesterday for a bar-b-que and got a gift certificate for a spa treatment (oooh!). So did his mom, so we are going to try and hit it up together! From his brother and sister, we got a cute, soft baby book.

Speaking of books, we went to Borders on Saturday and they were having a sale on baby books, so we bought 4 or 5 really cute, simple ones and only spent a few dollars. Can't start the library too early!

While we were there, I got "What to Expect During the First Year", which is the companion of the more famous "What to Expect When You're Expecting", which I already have. All I have to say is..eeps. Just the chapters on breastfeeding make me want to run for the hills! Hehe, just kiddin' (mostly)!!
