Dr’s Appt.

So, the doctor's appointment itself went really well, but I think I'm going to have to find myself a new doc. Let me explain...I like mine, alot. He's really nice and I've been seeing him for the routine stuff for the last 6 years or so, so he knows me. He's getting up there, though, and has been a solo practice all these years. Looking towards his future, he decided to join a group so there would be more coverage for him. Understandable.

What's not understandable is that he went from a nice suite of offices down the road from where I work to a free clinic, located in a not-so-nice part of town. Jon has pretty much forbidden me to go there by myself (remember where he works - he knows these things), and strongly suggested I find another doc, even though we both like him. After seeing the place, I tend to agree, although it sucks. There's a practice downstairs from me that comes highly recommended. I might see if they're taking new patients today.

Otherwise, nice and normal visit. The baby's right on target as far as growth and heartbeat, and my weight and BP were totally fine. Now it's just the monthlong wait for the big ultrasound. *sigh*
