Doctor’s appt.

I had my weekly non-stress test yesterday, which went well, as usual. The nurse-midwife came in, looked at my chart, told me my blood pressure was great, blood sugars were great and the baby was even better! I haven't gained any weight in 3 weeks (yay!) so I seem to be holding steady there too. She felt around and Logan's still head down (good boy!), but we found his heartbeat on the left side of my abdomen, rather than the right, which is where it's been for a long time. Lil guy must've got himself turned around somehow!

I asked her when she thought we would talk about what (if anything) would be done about the concerns they have for his possible larger size. She told me that the most likely senario was that I'd be offered an induction sometime the week of September 21st, but that it would be discussed in more detail at my next 2 appointments. Good points to an induction: it takes away the uncertainty of the where and when I'd go into labor and he won't be weighing in at 10 lbs. (hopefully). Bad points: inductions can sometimes lead to longer labors and c-sections.
