Doctor’s appt

I saw the doctor yesterday after doing my blood sugars since Friday and having the U/S last Thursday. I had to do a non-stress test, which is where the strap a fetal heart monitor and a contraction monitor over my belly. When I felt Logan move, I pressed a Jeopardy-like buzzer. The point of the test was to see if his heartbeat increased after movement, sort of like a grown-up's will after exercise. He moved tons, so they were able to get lots of good data and he passed that with flying colors, although it turns out it's not a one-time thing...I have to do it every week! Sheesh! Weirdly enough, the data did show I was having contractions, but I haven't been feeling any of them, so she said that was normal.

My blood sugar numbers have been kicking ass...they're not even close to being diabetic-like. Oh, well...I'll keep doing 'em. She went over the U/S with me and yes, he is measuring about 2 weeks ahead of schedule. She felt around and didn't think he was overly huge, but they are going to keep an eye on his growth and not let him get too big. Which is a relief, really. I'm nervous enough about labor and delivery without having to worry about having a 10 lb kid!
