Baby showers/Mom news!
Whoo hoo! I'm so excited about my PA baby shower this Saturday! My best girl Steph and MIL Mary are putting it together for me. It should be lots of fun! Then on 8/23, my Mom's throwing another one for me up home for family in NY. I am gonna get my party on in the next couple of weeks!!
The childbirth class is going well so far, even though it still freaks me out a bit. We're learning a lot about breathing and relaxation techniques, which should hopefully be helpful when the time comes. Jon has been showing me some ninja (yep, real, live ninja) concentration/breathing techniques as well! As much as I think I'm ready for Logan to be here, I continue to be a little overwhelmed by the whole birthing process. Here's hoping it all goes smoothly...
So in Mom news, she's moving to the Hershey area on August 18th! Big congrats to her on what sounds like an awesome job that she will kick ass at. Besides the traveling she'll get to do (Asia!), she gets to run an association for CPA's the way she wants (much like she did at the Bar Association in Broome Co.). She got herself a cute little apartment in Palmyra, so she's only minutes from work and, depending on the traffic, about 15-20 minutes from us. So the cool news is, Logan will get to see both sets of grandparents pretty much anytime he/they want! The kid's gonna get spoiled rotten, I'm almost sure of it.
