Happy Thanksgiving/getting ready for Christmas
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Mom, Jon, Logan and I went to Jon's parent's house for the afternoon for some yummy turkey and all the trimmings. As a fun bonus, I was playing with my rings the night before and they fit again...YAY! I missed them so much!
Logan is still being a great napper and sleeping through the night, which is awesome! He is getting so strong...I put him down for some tummy time yesterday and he's holding his head, neck and most of his chest up off the floor! If you sit him up, his head is a tad wobbly at times still, but for the most part, he can hold it pretty steady and loves to sit up and look around.
We're thinking about getting him one of those carriers where the baby faces front. Either that, or a Bumbo seat. "What is a Bumbo seat?", you may ask ('cause I sure did!). It's almost like a booster seat, but it's made of flexible, molded material and has leg holes so the kid doesn't fall over. It helps them sit up while giving them support at the same time. Gives them a different perspective than seeing everything sideways from laying down, which probably gets boring after awhile.
And we're all decorated for Christmas! Jon and Bob brought the tree up for me on Friday, and after getting home from shopping on Saturday, Mom shaped it for me (I swear, she's a professional shaper!) and I finished decorating it after she left. It looks really good! Logan has his own stocking that I put his name on with glitter yesterday and hung up between ours...it's huge! It really puts the pressure on Jon and me to fill it when he gets older, LOL!!
